Finding a home

Our accommodation team are here to help if you are looking for somewhere to live.

You'll have lots of options open to you. We have excellent local knowledge and lots of experience in supporting students at this time of year. We are here for you now and in every year of your course.

Accept your offer and get in touch with us for the latest advice on the best options for you.

Available options currently include both university and private halls and rented flats and houses.

Halls for 2025 starters

If you're interested in living in student halls when you start your course in 2025, please contact Accommodation Services to check availability. You can reach them by email at accommodation@brighton.ac.uk or by phone at 01271 644100.

Support for travel costs

Up to £700 towards travel costs

All eligible new students who are not living in halls can get help with their travel costs. You could receive between £200–£500,£500–£700 depending on where you live and your household income.

My housemates and I have bonded really well and we’re living with each other and one other person next year. I now don't think it's true that you have a better social life in halls because you meet people everywhere you go at university.
